Who will minister in the Healing Rooms? |
Anyone who has a heart for healing and is in good standing in a local church may be part of the ministry team. Everyone who wants to minister must have a letter from their Pastor/Minister and must attend a training course. Much of the power of prayer in the Healing Rooms is derived from different churches working together in unity. For this reason the Healing Rooms can only really exist when supported by a number of churches. |

Who can come to the Healing Rooms? |
Anyone who is sick. Once the Healing Rooms have started then advertisements can be placed in local papers etc. There is no requirement for people who attend to be Christian, but as Christians we would see the ultimate healing to be the healing of the soul when someone becomes a believer. And while this should not be forced on people, it should be offered when appropriate to all who attend. |

What are the Healing Rooms? |
Healing Rooms are a space where physically or emotionally sick people can come and receive prayer for Christian healing. The normal format would be to have a receptionist, two rooms for healing prayer and a room for intercessory prayer. The rooms would initially be part of a Church building, as this would involve the least cost. However as the work expands the aim would be to move to a non-church location, ideally a high street shop. When someone comes in they are greeted by the receptionist, who asks them to fill in a form, giving information about themselves and what they want prayer for. Each ministry team consists of three people, normally including both sexes. However they can be all male or all female if a client asks for this or it is felt appropriate. The ministry team will see the form and have time to pray, for a few minutes, before meeting the person. Each ministry session will typically last for half an hour.People are encouraged to believe that God wants to heal them and will heal them. They may also return as often as they wish.
